PIPE Training

The two-day PIPE training is hands-on and interactive. It has been designed to build confidence and skill in using the PIPE curriculum and instructional model. It includes:

· An overview of the curriculum's three units.

· Information regarding the emotional development concepts and brain development research that is woven into the curriculum.

· An opportunity to use the materials to plan, present and evaluate an instructional session.

· Ways to structure and scaffold a successful interactive session for parent and child.

· An opportunity to practice scaffolding techniques.

PIPE training is scheduled several times a year in Denver, Colorado. It is also possible to schedule a contracted training anywhere in the country. There is a substantial savings on the cost of the curriculum when the curriculum is purchased in conjunction with training.
